Where math & science merge with art
PhotoMath's camps are unique. Our camps engage students in Denver Colorado and Alameda California, McLean Virginia and Washington DC. Campers learn through hands-on discovery learning activities in science, technology, engineering, and math through the arts. Camp programming in Art Expression, Dance, Photography, Stop Motion Animation, Cooking with Math, Engineering is Fun and Environmental Art & Stewardship. Our small class size ensures one-on-one learning and an incredible camp experience.
WE TAKE SUMMER FUN SERIOUSLY!
PhotoMath S.T.E.A.M..’s summer programming shares the ultimate
goal with our parents - to encourage your child to explore, investigate and challenge themselves through hands-on
discovery learning activities in a relaxed fun learning environment.
"It just warms my heart to see Owen engaged in something he enjoys. And thank you for being so patient with him. I know he cannot be the easiest kid to connect with, which makes the fact that you seem to have stirred some kind of artistic urge in him even more remarkable.
I think I lost a few buttons on my shirt, because I’m so puffed up with pride!"
Thanks Again. J. Whitman
Theory of Learning (Pedagogy)
We believe learning through experience creates
lasting impact because it requires students to not
only understand the concepts but apply them in a
way that actually works towards a goal.
All of our programs operate as continuous
projects because the feelings of accomplishment,
determination, and incremental failure associated
with projects builds Grit. Students begin to see
problems as challenges to be overcome instead of
insurmountable permanent fixtures.
" Photomath's camps were the most fun and my favorite learning experience of the summer" Milan
Dance, Engineering, "Maker" projects, Science in Photography, Technology, Cooking with Math, Stop Motion Animation, Environmental Stewardship, Arts & Crafts and more.....
