PhotoMath S.T.E.M. LLC is operated by Pulitzer Prize winning photographer Reginald A. Pearman. We have over 30 years’ experience in Photojournalism and Retail School Photography providing schools and school districts with high quality, realistic images. We specialize in working with schools, students and administrators providing clean high quality imagery used for yearbooks, picture day, administrative portraits, brochures and district annual reports.
Reginald’s career spans over twenty years as an award-winning photojournalist and Instructor. He has worked on staff at The Oakland Tribune, The Associated Press, Washingtonpost.com.
and served as photographer for The Secretary of Energy, Samuel Bodman, and for The Secretary of Commerce, Carlos Gutierrez. His work has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, TIME Magazine and he has shot on assignment for The National Geographic
Magazine. Having won numerous local awards in California one of many highlights in his career materialized when he and his work were selected as one of The Pulitzer Prize Recipients in News Photography for coverage of the Loma Prieta Earthquake centered in Santa Cruz, California.
Mr. Pearman is an influential and enthusiastic communicator. He has mentored photographers as they start their careers, lectured at universities, and shared his vast knowledge teaching young
students the art of seeing using photography. Reginald directs the Langley School Summer Photography Program and is Executive Director of PhotoMath Inc., a visual learning organization that helps students reinforce Math and Science Concepts though Digital and Traditional Photography.

We have extensive experience in school photography, public relations photography, portraiture and documentary photography and videography. Our photographers have worked for school districts, newspapers, public relations firms and some of the largest corporate companies in the US. Having over 20 years’ experience and expertise in a variety of disciplines of photography, Reginald Pearman Photography offers the ultimate I service and in capturing images of any event. We are experts in film and digital imagery. An overview of covering your event: We arrive forty-five to thirty minutes before the scheduled shoot time to ensure subject and shooting environment are ready. If lighting is needed, we prep the room for light. Depending on the type and length of assignment we guarantee a twenty-four-hour turnaround of a high-quality digital product. If film is requested turnaround time is pushed back forty-eight hours. Photographers are highly experienced in Photo Shop and image manipulation to insure proper color correction and resolution of images. We deliver digital images in jpg format, sized and ready to drop into your brochure, flyer or annual report. We have the ability to offer desktop publishing capabilities. From retail photography to documentary photography, we understand and meet tight deadlines. All assignments are photographed in a well-lit environment created by photographer using artificial or natural light.
